About

Mr. Comstock has a distinguished 25-year career producing commercial real estate valuations and providing quality control review services. With a unique blend of appraisal expertise and technical acumen, he serves as a vital liaison between appraisers and the firm’s technology platforms.  

In his current role, Mr. Comstock remains deeply engaged in the valuation process, with a focus on driving operational efficiencies and enhancing the delivery of client service. His vision is to streamline appraisal workflows while connecting clients to the extensive capabilities and specialized expertise within Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory network.  

Mr. Comstock began his valuation career in the commercial appraisal department of Coast Federal Bank in January 1993. Since, he has appraised a broad spectrum of property types across all major asset classes, including retail, industrial, office, mixed-use, special-use, and multifamily properties. He has qualified as an expert witness in both Los Angeles Superior Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and his clientele has included REITs, attorneys, CPAs, financial institutions and international investors.  

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in November 2016, Mr. Comstock was affiliated with Appraisal Pacific, Inc. and the Auto Dealership Appraisal Group serving over 70 financial institutions including major national banks, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Certified Development Companies (CDCs). Additionally, clientele included REITS, accounting and legal firms, national auto groups, and private ownership entities on a nationwide basis.
