Michael Goetz joined Cushman and Wakefield in 2024 as a director in the firm’s Portland office, where he specializes in tenant representation. Goetz strives to provide optimal client solutions with a direct focus on arranging smooth transactions from beginning to end. His ability to connect with his clients and his strong communication skills allow him to provide this high level of service. Every deal is of utmost importance, no matter its size or requirement. Goetz credits his ability to anticipate client needs and prepare excellent market strategies to his entrepreneurial background and to the fundamentals he learned growing up in Des Moines, Iowa.

Prior to Cushman, Goetz was a standout broker at Newmark for several years, and before that he put his entrepreneurship skills to the test, founding a successful agribusiness where he worked from 2006 to 2018. His passion for real estate began while leasing property for his own businesses, and it inspired him to enter the world of commercial real estate, where he enjoys expanding his business relationships and providing ideal outcomes for his clients. Goetz enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys music, art, hiking, camping, snowboarding, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors.
