Tidwell is a Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Multifamily Advisory Group and Private Capital Group, specializing in multifamily and land investment sales across Greater Los Angeles. He advises private apartment owners, investors, family trusts and developers, with a primary focus on 8–60 unit apartment properties and select larger private-capital assets.

His approach is client-focused in service, institutional in capability and senior-led in execution. Tidwell remains directly involved throughout the assignment—from initial strategy and valuation through market positioning, buyer targeting, negotiations, due diligence and closing—providing owners with a clear point of accountability throughout the process.

Tidwell brings more than two decades of real estate experience and a valuation-informed perspective to investment sales. A Certified General Appraiser and SRA-designated member of the Appraisal Institute, he previously served as a Director within Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group and has been responsible for more than $10 billion in property valuations nationally. That background brings institutional underwriting discipline and property-specific analysis to pricing, positioning and owner decision-making.

Rather than beginning with the assumption that a property should be sold, Tidwell helps owners evaluate the available paths—hold, refinance, reposition or sell—before determining the appropriate execution strategy. Through Cushman & Wakefield’s relationship with Greystone, he can also connect owners with agency lending and broader debt solutions, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD and bridge capital, allowing financing alternatives to be considered alongside a potential disposition.
