About
Nick Chop, MAI joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2025 as an Executive Director with over 30 years of commercial real estate valuation experience specializing in eminent domain and infrastructure-related real estate valuation. Mr. Chop has a highly specialized skill set having worked with some of the nation’s top transportation departments, cities, and utility companies across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. He has served as an expert witness in a wide range of transportation, pipeline and utility-related litigation matters, delivering trusted valuation guidance to government and utility entities, law firms and private landowners.
Mr. Chop has experience appraising property types including neighborhood shopping centers, retail strip‐centers, office buildings, industrial, flex‐space, apartment communities, self‐storage facilities, churches, mixed‐use developments, community development districts (CDD’s), developments of regional impact (DRI’s), residential subdivisions, environmentally sensitive lands, wetlands, pasture, and other similar property types.
