Biography

Ryan Hattersley is in his 22nd year as a broker in Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) Oakland office and specializes in assisting his clients in all aspects of commercial real estate in and around the Oakland Metro Area, including leasing, subleasing, buying and selling office, bio-life science/laboratory, high-tech/R&D properties and development land. Ryan was the recipient of C&W’s inaugural America’s Achievement Award in 2020 and is an active member of C&W’s Tenant Advisory Practice Group, Life Science Practice Group, and Agency Leasing Practice Group. He is consistently one of C&W’s top brokers in the region and the top office broker in C&W’s Oakland office. Ryan has been involved in over 20 million square feet of leases/sublease/investment sales in his career and is a trusted strategic real estate advisor to many of the Bay Area’s most respected Tenants/Occupiers and Investors.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ryan was in corporate finance. An East Bay native, Ryan graduated from Pomona College where he majored in Economics, studied abroad in Spain and captained their NCAA football team. Ryan lives in Lafayette with his wife, Jana, their two children, two rescue cats and beloved dog. Ryan’s passions are international travel with his family, trail running, fishing, golf, cooking and the ceramic arts.
