Ryan McCafferty joined Cushman & Wakefield Western, Inc. in January 2000, as a staff appraiser in the downtown Los Angeles office. In January of 2001, he transferred to the Orange County office as a staff appraiser. In 2005, he was promoted to Associate Director and in 2007 he was promoted to Director. After 14 years with Cushman & Wakefield, he left the firm in July of 2013 and joined Salus Valuation Group. He returned to Cushman & Wakefield in April of 2014 as a Senior Director. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2000, Mr. McCafferty was employed from 1994 to 1999 as a finance manager for the J. Byer Group Inc., a leading geotechnical engineering firm, which is headquartered in Glendale, California. From 1999 to 2000, Mr. McCafferty spent a short time at Transamerica-Aegon Corporation, as a financial analyst for the insurance firm, which is headquartered in downtown Los Angeles, California.

Mr. McCafferty is a member of the Senior Housing and Healthcare Practice Group and also Co-Leader of the Medical Office Practice Group. Specialty experience includes medical office buildings, fair market value for Stark Law compliance, ambulatory surgery centers, short-term acute care hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, behavior health facilities, senior apartments, CCRC’s, independent, assisted living and memory care communities, skilled nursing facilities, market feasibility studies and a wide variety of senior housing and healthcare related income producing properties throughout the United States.
