Tim McNamara is widely known, and consistently recognized as one of the top producing retail brokers in all of New England and eastern New York, having helped the likes of REI, Wild Oats (Whole Foods), The Fresh Market, Home Depot, Bridgestone-Firestone, Aldi Food Market, Chase Bank, Starbucks, LA Fitness, Carmax, Trinity Healthcare and many more expand throughout the Northeast from New York to Maine. Tim’s record speaks for itself, and many of the most prominent Fortune 500 Retailers in the world continue to look to him for advice on expanding throughout these Northeast markets.

Tim joined Cushman & Wakefield in the fall of 2021 after having been at SullivanHayes in Farmington, Connecticut since 1997 and prior to that, at CBRE in Hartford and Stamford, CT from 1988-1997. He has specialized in retail tenant representation throughout his career. In addition, Tim’s considerable experience includes facilitating the sale of tens of millions of dollars in retail commercial real estate. Tim is also a regular panelist for industry events such as the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) and ICSC, providing his expert market insight into the retail market.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He is also an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and resides in central Connecticut with his wife and four children.
