About

Tom Martin joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Director in 2011. In this role, he focuses on providing tenant representation services to retail clients, including LA Fitness, Red Robin, CarMax, National Vet Associates, US Bank, PGA Tour SuperStore, Acme Tools, T-Mobile, Sprint, HR Block and Freshii. Additionally, Tom represents Holiday Station Stores in the disposition of their surplus land and buildings throughout Minnesota.

Tom joined Cambridge Commercial Realty in 1994 and has been responsible for the rollout and expansion of Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday, Old Chicago, T-Mobile, Bennigan’s, Staples LA Fitness, and Harbor Freight, in the Minnesota and western Wisconsin markets. During that time, he has also completed multiple surplus property disposition assignments for Walmart, Kmart Corporation, LA Fitness (Bally’s Surplus), Fleet Farm Gander Mountain and YUM Brands.

Community Involvement

As a member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), Tom has served on multiple committees and has twice chaired the golf committee, MSCA’s largest charitable fundraising event. Outside of work, Tom is involved in athletics, coaching hockey and baseball in the Hopkins/Minnetonka area.

Education

Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel College in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
