Following 15 years’ experience in facilities, property and infrastructure project management, Luke McCabe has developed a focused and personable management style. Joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2014, Luke has utilized his experience on varied project management contracts in the financial sector, state and federal government.

Since January 2016, Luke has been the Defence Estate Works Program Manager for the South-East Zone, comprising of all Defence Bases and infrastructure in Tasmania, Victoria and Riverina. In this role, Luke takes responsibility for the prioritization of maintenance and new capability works and in coordinating the Project Delivery Services in the Defence Estate.

Moreover, Luke has been the client liaison between the various members, stakeholders and groups within the Defence Estate. His key focus since coming to the contract has been process communication, and education of Defence partners in the operation of the Estate Works model and how best for them to utilize it to achieve their capability objectives.
