About

Chris Coepijn is a Dutch architect, trained at TU Delft, with broad experience at architecture firms in London and Amsterdam. He is a practical designer with a sharp eye for detail and a strong appreciation for working across scales – from urban interventions to the refinement of a single space.

He often advises clients in the early stages of new developments or renovation projects, typically through feasibility studies. Chris brings a thoughtful, client-focused mindset to every assignment, acting as a reliable advisor throughout the process.

Since November 2024, Chris has been Lead Studio at Project & Development Services, overseeing the design team and ensuring the quality and coherence of their work. In this role, he combines design leadership with team coordination, aligning creative excellence with project goals.

Why contact Chris?

Chris brings clarity and calm to complex projects. Clients value his ability to listen, translate ambitions into practical design steps, and stay focused on what truly matters throughout a project’s lifecycle.

With a thoughtful, analytical mindset and strong communication skills, he bridges the gap between creative vision and real-world constraints. Whether you're exploring a building’s potential, navigating a renovation, or shaping a new development, Chris offers reliable guidance, sharp thinking, and a collaborative spirit.

Areas of Specialization

Chris specialises in renovation and transformation projects, with a strong focus on early design phases where strategic decisions have lasting impact. His academic background in Renovation, Intervention and Modification (RIM) shaped his deep understanding of working with existing buildings—respecting their character while introducing something new and meaningful.

He is drawn to architectural contrasts: old and new, raw and refined, structure and softness. This sensitivity informs both his design work and his ability to guide clients through complex spatial and technical decisions with clarity and care.

Sustainability is a key consideration in every project Chris takes on. Together with his team, he helps clients integrate sustainable strategies from the start, offering clear advice and hands-on coordination to fully unburden them.
