Chris Bennett is the Head of London Office Capital Markets, having joined in January 2026 from Deka where he spent 17 years, the last 7 of which were as Head of their London Branch with responsibility for all of Deka’s UK and Irish Real Estate Lending business. Chris was a founder member of Deka’s London Branch and was responsible for instigating its Irish Real Estate lending programme in 2015. Key clients at Deka included Hines, Tishman Speyer, Oxford Properties, Related Argent and CBRE IM across numerous Central London office transactions. Prior to Deka, Chris worked for a number of international banks in Real Estate lending, including Citigroup where he was a VP in their EMEA Securitisation team.

Chris is currently a Board Member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council for Europe, the pan-European trade body for Real Estate Finance joining the Board in 2020 and acting as Chair in 2022. Chris qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2014 and received the FRICS designation in 2023 and was educated at Cardiff University where he received a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and at Southampton University where he received an MSc in Accounting and Management Science.
