Coby Vance is a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield and specializes in industrial real estate brokerage in Greater Bakersfield and the Central Valley. Coby, along with his business partners, Wayne Kress, Scott Reynolds, and Nikka Cabello, make up the Golden Empire Industrial Team (GEIT) servicing the sales, leasing and valuation needs of their clients, both large and small.

Coby joined GEIT in 2004 and is responsible for prospecting and deal origination. He brings a unique background to GEIT with experience in small business lending, where he worked with the local Small Business Development lender, Mid State Development Corporation, three years prior to his joining GEIT. AAs a member of GEIT, Coby has represented numerous clients including Castle & Cooke, RREEF, Lufkin Industries, Weatherford, County of Kern, City of Shafter, Precision Pharmacy, Reyneveld Construction, Mangus Rentals, Felsenthal Property Management, HADCO Metals, PG&E, Foundation Building Materials, Don-Nan Pump, PODS, Men’s Warehouse, ABC Supply to name a few.

He also brings a personal connection with the market, a second generation native of Bakersfield, Coby was raised locally and is a product of California State University Bakersfield (CSUB), where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a degree in Business Economics. He is also a member of the Athletic Board at CSUB where he is involved in sports fundraising and athletic department input.
