David DeMatteis is a 20+ year veteran of Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey based Consulting Group, He has completed nearly 1000 real estate transactions on behalf of his clients including assignments for Selective Insurance, Proximo Spirits (Jose Cuervo), H-Mart, Tumi, and Citrix.

David recently negotiated Apprentice IO’s new headquarters at the top of 101 Hudson Street in Jersey City. During the global pandemic David assisted the firm in growing from 15 to 200 employees as the they developed software that propelled the “warp speed” manufacturing of the Moderna vaccine.

Notable transactions include Samsung Electronics’ 230,000 sf US headquarters at 85 Challenger Road in Ridgefield Park, and Norris McLaughlin & Marcus 70,000 sf headquarters in Bridgewater. David negotiated a 60,000-sf build-to-suite facility in Hamilton to serve as a regional service center for a national insurance firm.

Masters Certificate in Real Estate Finance, New York University.

David is Vice President of the Columbia Club of NJ and has served for the past 10 years on the Montclair Kimberly Academy Alumni Board.

David has won Co-Star’s quarterly “Power Broker” award three times in the past three years. First for Apprentice IO and the second time for Mitsubishi-Tanabe Pharma’s 60,000sf headquarters at Newport Tower in Jersey City. The third transaction was for the Hospital for Special Surgery in Paramus, NJ.
