About
Mr. Liu began his appraisal career in 2012 while completing his Masters of City and Regional Planning at the University of Texas-Arlington. Upon graduation, he worked at commercial appraisal firms in the Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan areas.
He is well versed in ARGUS Enterprise and has completed assignments for the purposes of CMBS, estate planning, bank and corporate appraisal and consulting, and litigation. He has completed assignments in the following markets within Texas: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin-Round Rock, Houston, Killeen-Temple, San Antonio, Rio Grande Valley, Waco, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Midland-Odessa, Lubbock, Tyler, Longview, and Amarillo, among others. Additionally, he has also completed assignments in New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
One of his primary focus areas has been the self storage asset class, with a secondary focus on industrial and car dealerships. Mr. Liu’s recent appraisal assignments are as follows: He was part of a team that completed a portfolio of 48 Class A and B self storage facilities in Texas and Oklahoma; He completed a portfolio of 32 Class A and B self storage facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston MSAs; He was part of a team that completed a portfolio of 82 Class A and B industrial properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth MSA and San Antonio MSA; He has also worked on over 70 proposed Class A self storage and RV-boat storage properties within Texas since 2021. He worked on a portfolio of over 50 auto dealerships in Texas and Oklahoma for the purpose of the client’s internal valuation.
Mr. Liu also has vast experience in other various property types, such as retail shopping centers, mixed use power centers, net leased properties, subdivisions, condominium sell-offs, fast food restaurants, high-end urban flex properties, and farm and ranch properties.
