Heather Rio joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2026 as an Associate in the Phoenix office, where she serves on the industrial team with a focus on owner and tenant representation. Heather brings more than nine years of experience in operations management, business development, and client relations across the commercial real estate technology and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Heather was an Associate on the industrial team at SRS Industrial, where she advised owners and tenants on industrial leasing and sales. Earlier, she was a Business Development Manager at Crexi, where she conducted market research, built client relationships, and negotiated exclusive agreements with property owners, brokers, and investors. She also served as Senior Vice President of Lender Services at CommLoan, overseeing lender onboarding, financial process management, and lender criteria negotiations. Earlier in her career, Heather worked in executive recruiting, HR, and office management, where she developed a strong foundation in operations and client service.

Heather earned a bachelor's degree in sociology with a focus on business administration from the University of Miami.
