James Galef is an Associate on Cushman & Wakefield’s New York Capital Markets team, where he focuses on investment sales across all asset classes. He supports all phases of the deal process, from underwriting and marketing to buyer outreach and transaction execution, leveraging a sharp analytical approach and a collaborative mindset. James has been involved in transactions spanning lender-driven dispositions, office repositionings, and retail condo sales, bringing a thoughtful perspective to complex deal structures.

Prior to joining the Capital Markets team full-time, James interned on Bruce Mosler’s Office Leasing team, gaining firsthand experience in tenant advisory and agency leasing strategy. He also worked with a Washington, D.C.–based real estate developer on the historic redevelopment of a downtown office asset. James earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from The George Washington University and is a graduate of Brunswick School. He is a licensed New York State Real Estate Salesperson.
