Mr. Bryant is an Executive Director within the Valuation & Advisory group of Cushman & Wakefield of Oregon, Inc.
He began his career with Cushman & Wakefield in 1986, and during his 23 year tenure with Cushman & Wakefield was promoted from Associate Director in 1990 to Director in 1995. He was named National Practice Group Co-Leader for the V&A Senior Housing/Healthcare Practice Group in 2001, and in 2002 was promoted to Managing Director. In 2003, he was named National Director of the V&A Affordable Housing Practice Group. He left the firm in late 2009 and assisted in the formation of Salus Valuation Group. He returned to Cushman & Wakefield in March of 2013 as Senior Director, specializing in senior housing and multifamily property appraisals. Mr. Bryant has been involved in the real estate appraisal industry since 1980, starting is career with Western Appraisals in Lewiston, Idaho, prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield.
Appraisal and consulting assignments have included vacant land, commercial, retail and industrial properties, single- and multi-family residential properties, senior housing, aviation properties, ad valorem mass appraisals, and other investment property types throughout the United States.
As National Co-Leader of the V&A Senior Housing/Healthcare Practice Group, his responsibilities included coordination and oversight of appraisers specializing in the valuation of independent living retirement communities, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement facilities, skilled, intermediate and sub-acute care nursing homes, hospitals and other healthcare oriented property types under conventional, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD/FHA lending platforms.
As National Leader of the V&A Affordable Housing Group, his responsibilities included coordination and oversight of appraisers specializing in the valuation of affordable housing properties, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), HUD Section 8, Rural Development (RD), Farm Home Administration, and other low-income property types under conventional financing and HUD/FHA insured mortgages under the 221 and 223 programs.
