As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Mark Russell oversees the property operations of Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta-area management portfolio. Mr. Russell is responsible for the financial and operational performance of the assets managed on behalf of the firm’s owner clients. He leverages his 15+ years of commercial property experience to help clients enhance the performance of their investments, seeking to enhance revenue and overall value while controlling and minimizing costs and mitigating risks.

Mr. Russell offers an extensive background in financial analysis, property management, budgeting, capital improvement management, and leasing. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was with Jamestown Properties in Atlanta, where he served as portfolio manager. In that capacity, he supervised a staff of 18 in the management of 40 assets of diverse property types, including mixed-use, office, retail, multifamily, industrial, medical, hotel, and special use.

He began his commercial real estate career with Cousins Properties, where he held a number of key property management and financial positions over a 13-year period, most recently as senior vice president and senior investment officer. Mr. Russell was responsible for all of Cousins’ investment analysis, underwriting, and financial modeling. He also led numerous asset dispositions for the firm.
