Matthew Nielsen is The New York Lead in Project & Development Services based in the New York City Office. Matthew has over 15 years of experience managing large scale projects in the Real Estate industry. These projects include multi-site corporate restructuring, full-building infrastructure upgrades, government agency-wide initiatives, Landmarks Preservation Commission approved projects, high-end single floor fit-outs.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he ran the construction portfolio for a privately-owned real estate company specializing in build-to-suit construction and design consulting. Previously, with the National Realty and Development Corp., he was responsible for analysis and construction management for development projects throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.

Mr. Nielsen’s background provides experience directing each project phase from site due diligence thru closeout, ensuring that schedule, design, and budget goals are met.
