Mr. Rando serves as Senior Managing Director and Regional Partner within the Valuation & Advisory group of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. As Senior Managing Director, Mr. Rando oversees and directs the efforts of the Houston office and serves as the Quality Control manager.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. Mr. Rando was a senior manager in the Houston office of Arthur Andersen LLP and specialized in real estate appraisal and consultation. At Arthur Andersen, he co-managed a staff of 30 appraisers and coordinated the valuation and due diligence sectors, with an emphasis on institutional real estate owners, such as pension funds, corporate real estate owners and major conduit lenders. Mr. Rando was also responsible for much of the staff and system development. Before joining Arthur Andersen, his early career was with Trahan & Partners, where he helped to grow the firm from five appraisers to a nationally recognized organization with multiple offices and more than 25 employees.

During his 25-year career, Mr. Rando has managed and reviewed thousands of pension fund, CMBS, estate, bank and corporate appraisal and consulting engagements. His valuation expertise includes premier properties such as super-regional and regional malls, major CBD and suburban office buildings, mixed-use commercial and residential developments, affordable and market rate multi-family developments, corporate headquarters facilities, as well as commercial, industrial and residential developments throughout the U.S.
