Awards & Recognition
- Charles was educated at Nottingham High School and Kingston Upon Thames University, where he graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Estate Management in 1988.
- He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at JLL in 1991 and sat on the Office Agents Society national steering committee for 13 years with responsibility for their annual Development Awards programme.
- He is also a member of the British Council for Offices.

Green Park, Reading: Charles led the team that was instructed by Oxford Properties following their acquisition of the UK’s largest office park, now owned by Mapletree. C&W is now appointed as joint letting agents the 2.25 m sq ft scheme.
White City, London W12: appointed by Stanhope plc with their funding partners Mitsui Fudosan and AIMCo, C&W are advising on the regeneration of the iconic Television Centre and White City Place to provide a new community with 1.6m sq ft of office space alongside residential, retail, leisure and restaurant uses respecting the location’s iconic heritage.
Reading International Business Park: Charles has been involved from site acquisition, through the design and construction process to the letting of Phases 1 & 2 (34,373 m²/370,000 sq ft) Scheme won the Business Park category at the OAS Development of the Year Awards.
Foundation Park, Maidenhead: advising JP Morgan Asset Management on the 230,000 sq ft business park including the development of three new buildings and associated amenities.
Belmont, Uxbridge: appointed by Aviva Investors to market this 125,000 sq ft speculative office redevelopment in the centre of Uxbridge.
Wembley Park, London NW10: adviser to Quintain on the office phase of this dynamic mixed use development which will provide c 800,000 sq ft of new B1 accommodation alongside Wembley Stadium, the SSE Arena and London Designer Outlet mall.
