Chris leads all aspects of business transition projects from pursuit to planning and delivery for the Cushman & Wakefield Relocation and Logistics Management team.

Chris has a strong foundation in planning, leading and managing programs, projects and implementing process improvement. He has managed relocation programs on both local and national levels. This includes overseeing many complex assignments from large corporate relocations and industrial moves to multi-site decommission programs. He is credited with success by routinely identifying and evaluating project risks, keeping multidisciplinary projects from scope creep, and increasing stakeholder communication.

Micron Technology Inc. – Boise ID
Chris is currently leading the implementation of a national relocation program for the client. He has developed a tailored strategy that increases user experience, saves the client 25% over previous move solutions and has facilitated repeatable processes from project to project and site to site. This includes the creation of a remote management system for all relocations, which ensures labor, and project oversight are unaffected by COVID-19 impacts. In the first year of the program, C&W managed the comprehensive relocation of over 1800 staff, affecting 3 national sites and 12 large buildings.

K&N Engineering – Greater Lost Angeles Area - California
Responsible for leading the interstate relocation of a 500,000+ SF facility from California to Texas. This included, setting the strategy, best practices for operations and equipment transfer, rigging, crane, and transport services and permitting. He has managed the $1M+ relocation budget over 14 months and ensured top performance from all related vendors and project team members.

Howard S. Wright / City of Portland OR
Responsible for the relocation for 1600+ employees in 5 downtown buildings to the newly renovated Portland Building on behalf of the City of Portland, Office of Management & Finance and Howard S. Wright. Chris led the project from the initial strategy presentation to the client through contract award and planning efforts. The project team is poised to execute a seamless transition for the City of Portland OMF staff comprised of 10 phases spanning the length of four months.

Zurich American Insurance Group - Decommission Program - National
Zurich American Insurance Group required decommission of 17 locations (100,000 sq. ft.) across the US in 2018 & 2019, which included staff legal offices and a national data center. Chris has assembled and lead the project team of over 30 partners to achieve Zurich’s decommission guidelines. He has also ensured that Zurich’s related business units such as IT & procurement are aligned with project deliverables and schedule. Scoped responsibilities require Chris to plan all aspects of the project including schedule creation, budget creation & management, and final site approval.

Zurich American Insurance Group – Data Center Decommission – Anoka, MN
Chris led the decommission of a critical data center that supported the ZNA infrastructure for the western half of the United States. He assembled a team of client and partner subject matter experts, directed project schedules, work, budget and aligned execution this project in late 2018. The project required industrial cranes and rigging to dismantle the data center in phases while maintaining zero down time for the client.

Teledyne Reynolds Relocation – Los Angeles, CA
Chris was assigned to manage the relocation efforts for a US Dept. of Defense supplier – Teledyne Reynolds, (50,000 sq. ft., 150 employees, 250 major equipment pieces). He was responsible for management of all relocation activities, including budget creation, bid analysis and move vendor recommendation. Key challenges include large equipment moves, rigging and seismic anchoring to California State requirements and restricted move hours. Chris has developed a packaging, labeling and supervision process to ensure Teledyne’s unique equipment moves arrive to the destination with complete integrity, bringing the project in under budget and on time.

Molex Relocation – Auburn Hills, MI

Corporate Relocation of Molex - Auburn hills from a 76,000 sq. ft. facility (300 employees) to a newly renovated 140,000 sq. ft. state of the art laboratory in Rochester Hills, MI. Chris was responsible for managing every aspect of this complex project from laboratory machinery rigging to IT move vendors. Due to major construction delays, Chris was able to compress the move schedule, align vendors for contingency He is ensuring the client experiences “zero downtime” in order support Molex’s dedication to its customers.

AECOM Relocation – New York, NY
Chris was an integral member of the project team for an AECOM consolidation of three Manhattan facilities into two. The scope requires office, facilities and IT contents to be relocated for over 800 employees covering more than 250,000 sq. ft. of office space. He has worked closely with the client’s facility & IT managers to ensure successful “Day 1” transition for newly relocated employees. Chris also managed the decommission activities for One Penn Plaza and 605 3rd Ave. ensuring all IT & AV removal guidelines were met prior to landlord walk-through and suite turnover.
