Jim Becker joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2012 as a Project Manager in the Project and Development Services group. Mr. Becker Brings over eight (8) years of building experience and provides a complete range of services for his clients including strategic planning, programming, estimating and budget control, scheduling, design and construction management, contract administration, move management, project close-out, and post construction. In his career at C&W, Jim has been involved with the management of projects in the local Chicago, Illinois market as well as Virginia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Missouri, Georgia, California, and Texas.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Becker was a Project Manager for Grubb & Ellis working on multiple projects for Deloitte in Iowa and Pennsylvania as well as Capital One in Rolling Meadows, IL.  Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Jim was a Project Engineer (II) for Skender Construction out of Chicago, IL but managed projects in Las Vegas, NV as well as Newport Beach, CA. He worked on both new construction and interior renovations with clients, design teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project completions. Jim provided services such as budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor awards, shop drawing/submittal reviews and all cost control aspects. Prior to working at Skender Construction, Jim served as an Assistant Project Manager for Fioretti Associates, Inc. where he worked on various projects to enhance his knowledge of the construction project management process. Jim also worked at Condon-Michel Consulting Engineers as a Field Technician for two summers during college.
