Karl Sherry, a founding partner of the firm, has personally negotiated the sale and lease of millions of square feet of space since forming Hayes & Sherry Real Estate Services in 1990. As exclusive representative for several Fortune 500 companies, Karl includes Fidelity Investments, UBS, Abbott Laboratories, J.P. Morgan, New York Life, Brown University, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, Textron, Astrazeneca, Delta Dental of Rhode Island and Pitney Bowes among his clients.

Karl is an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delta Dental of Rhode Island and the Altus Group, and current Chairman of the Board of Blackstone Health Services; he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club; a Director of Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket; a member of the Rhode Island Commodores; a member of the Board of Directors of In-sight; and has served in different capacities for various charitable organizations throughout Rhode Island including Chair of the LaSalle Academy Inaugural Scholarship Dinner, and a Director of the Pawtucket Foundation. Karl has also served as an admissions advisor to Boston College where he graduated in 1977.
