Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) is about cultivating programs, developing opportunities and expanding networks to advance and strengthen the success of our talent.

Across the organization, we have seen our members take action to empower our people and create a more dynamic and collaborative workplace.

In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day (March 8), our WIN chapters worldwide celebrated with self-empowerment sessions and service opportunities as well as professional networking events.

Several offices chose to use the day and month as a way to give back to other women. Minneapolis/St. Paul Group WIN members hosted a “Day of Success” event on March 13 for Dress for Success program participants. The half-day workshop provided mock interviews, resume reviews, and a presentation on Cushman & Wakefield’s career path, all presented by members of Cushman & Wakefield.

In Phoenix, the company held a clothing and wish list drive for Fresh Start, a local organization dedicated to helping women with personal and professional development, collecting $1,202, 20 containers of clothing and three bags of supplies.

Led by WIN and co-sponsored by the firm’s UNITY (LGBTQ+ Integrated Network) chapter in Florida, the Orlando office held a 10-day clothing drive to collect donations for Covenant House Florida, a local charity serving runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth under 21 including teen parents and their babies. Their efforts resulted in over four car loads of clothes, shoes and household goods.

Other offices focused on personal and professional development, like our Chicago headquarters which invited Andee Harris, CEO of HighGround, to share her experiences and challenges in climbing the corporate ladder as well as her involvement with Lumity.

Self-care was the highlight of the St. Louis’ office celebration. They held a series of wellness sessions focused on organization, de-stressing, self-defense, and gratitude before ending the day with a happy hour.

The Nashville chapter of WIN attended a city-wide event featuring a host of performers and speakers to celebrate inclusion, equality, egalitarianism, multi-culturalism, and sisterhood.

A few of the chapters took the opportunity to come together for some fun, including Houston which held a decorate-your-own cupcake event, and the office in the Philippines which brought in masseuses and reflexology experts.

Several of our other offices from around the world celebrated in a variety of ways as well including San Paulo, Atlanta, Tampa, Toronto, Singapore, the U.K. and more. The activity captured on our social channels under the hashtag #CWBalanceforBetter was inspiring and illustrated how impactful the collective voice of our 2,225 members in 42 chapters worldwide can be.

International Women’s Day provides a powerful platform for unifying women around the world and driving action for gender equality, while celebrating the social, cultural, economic and political achievements of women. But we know the message and work needs to continue beyond. Our WIN members play an integral role in promoting and advancing the business impact of women at Cushman & Wakefield to better our firm and provide the best solutions for our clients.
