At our company’s recent All-Hands Meeting this week, Managing Principal Brett Gray interviewed Janet LaBar, president and CEO of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, in a Q&A fireside chat.

Janet LaBar speaker

The Alliance, which is responsible for economic development efforts for the greater Charlotte region, is a new organization that combined two legacy organizations into one new single voice for the region in its recruitment efforts. A seasoned regional economic development leader with strong communications, strategy and operations skills, Janet was selected in April 2019 following a four-month national search. Janet spoke with the firm about the recent economic development success Charlotte has experienced and the overall shift in strategy and approach the Alliance is making to grow region’s economic impact. Thank you so much to Janet for being our special guest speaker!
