In the third quarter of 2019, new leasing activity slowed to 7.3 million square feet leased, off the previous six-quarter average by 19.3%. However, Downtown continues to shine with new leasing through Q3 2019 exceeding the annual totals from 2015-2018 with nearly 6.0 msf leased. And in Midtown South, Class A direct asking rents reached an all-time high at $108.47 per square foot.
