Since the beginning of Marcella’s real estate career in 2005, she has worked on some of New York’s highest profile transactions, representing both domestic and international clients. Marcella joined the record-setting and prestigious New York City Cushman & Wakefield team in 2016, which leads the Cushman & Wakefield gateway platform and focuses across all asset classes. Marcella focuses primarily on New York City or larger national transactions, including all asset classes: office, multifamily, industrial, hotel, retail and development. In the course of her career, Marcella has brought several new sources of offshore capital into US real estate transactions and focused on tax efficient partial interest structuring. She continues to serve as a trusted advisor to offshore institutional and high net worth clients as they expand their acquisitions efforts. Marcella, along with senior team members, has led/participated in the successful completion of over $100 billion of transactions during her career, including $40 billion thus far at Cushman & Wakefield.
Marcella’s transaction experience spans from trophy and boutique assets in New York City, to trophy and large portfolio multifamily assets, to some of NYC’s largest development sites, and large national industrial portfolios. Marcella’s recent NYC experience includes the 46% partial interest sale of 1515 Broadway ($1.95 billion); the sale of 693 Fifth Avenue ($525 million); the placement of joint venture equity into MoMA Tower (approximately $1.3 billion total capitalization); the 49% partial interest sale of One Liberty Plaza ($1.55 billion) and a stake in the $650 million Waterside Plaza. She has recently sold a 40% stake in a $707 million gateway industrial portfolio and a $365 million Amazon and FedEx portfolio, as well as numerous single Amazon transactions.
Marcella was previously a Senior Vice President and partner on the CBRE institutional Capital Markets Team, where she worked for over a decade, as well as an Associate at Savills.
Marcella was honored by Crain’s New York as a “40 Under 40” professional. Marcella is a member of the Sales Broker Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York as well as the Programming Committee for WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate.
Marcella earned a BS in Marketing from Lehigh University.
