Mark Lauzon

Sr. Director • United States

Mark Lauzon is based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Midtown Manhattan office and specializes in both tenant and landlord representation. He handles an array of real estate services covering acquisitions, expansions, renewals, and dispositions for both office and retail clients. Mr. Lauzon currently represents JDS Development Group at 111 West 57th Street, recently owed by Steinway, Inc., who he also represented. Additionally, he represents a number of tenant dispositions and tenant acquisitions, including 940 Eighth Avenue, 485 Lexington Avenue, and a recently completed, full-floor transaction at 330 Fifth Avenue.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Lauzon was Vice President and Director of Leasing for Max Capital Management Corp., where he was responsible for the overall marketing and leasing of retail and commercial office space for a 4.8-million-sf portfolio consisting of 230 and 237 Park Avenue, 350 Madison Avenue, 1440 Broadway, and 450 West 33rd Street. In 2004, he leased more than 310,000 sf in 230 Park Avenue alone, ranking the building as one of Manhattan’s most actively leased buildings for that year.

Previously, Mr. Lauzon was Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Agency Services group, which specializes in the exclusive leasing and marketing of commercial office and retail space. In that role, he was responsible for select building agencies, as well as securing new leasing agency assignments for the company. Mr. Lauzon’s department was responsible for more than 24 million sf in 46 buildings in Manhattan and New Jersey.

Prior to initially joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Lauzon spent more than 20 years at Rockefeller Center, the world-renowned office, retail, and entertainment complex located in Midtown Manhattan. Under the ownership of Tishman Speyer Properties, he served as Director of Leasing, and, under the prior ownership of the Rockefeller family, he served as Assistant Vice President of Leasing and as Special Events Coordinator for Rockefeller Center, which, at that time, included the Avenue of the Americas Westside properties, namely 1211, 1221, 1251, and 1271 Avenue of the Americas.
