He was subsequently promoted to Managing Director in 2002. Mr. Love entered the real estate business in 1978 and was initially employed by Tarantello & Company from 1978 to 1989 primarily as an appraiser and consultant. In late-1989, Mr. Love formed his own appraisal business in Phoenix, Timothy S. Love & Associates. Beginning in 1993, Sunwest Advisory Group, Inc. was formed with the addition of a partner. During 1996, Sunwest Advisory Group was merged into Burke Hansen, Inc.

Appraisal and consulting assignments have included residential and commercial/industrial subdivisions, master planned communities, apartment complexes, mobile home parks, office buildings, shopping centers, fast food restaurants, business/industrial parks, automotive convenience centers, mini-storage facilities, motels/hotels, miscellaneous special purpose properties, and all types of vacant land. Geographic areas of properties appraised include Arizona (Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, Yavapai and Coconino counties), California (all southern California counties, plus the San Francisco Bay area), Nevada (Kern, Clark and Cook counties), and New Mexico (Albuquerque). Qualified as an expert witness in Federal Bankruptcy Court and Federal District Court.
