Kai Fuhrmann is a Senior Associate –Retail Services with Cushman & Wakefield in the Portland, Oregon office, specializing in investment sales and leasing of retail assets. He is a licensed Principal Broker in Oregon and Managing Broker in Washington.

A native to Rostock, Germany, Kai has called Portland home since 1994, and with a 25-year background in business development, his clients greatly benefit from his knowledge of local market trends and his deep connections in the region’s business and retail-development circles. Kai prides himself on a cool-headed, analytical, and creative approach to each transaction, which has earned him the trust of investors, landlords, and tenants alike.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Kai was a Senior Advisor with SVN Bluestone, where he excelled focusing on Landlord and Tenant representation as well as retail investment sales.

Also being a trained master woodworker, avid skier, and outdoorsman, Kai is a member of the Certified Commercial Investment Members Institute (CCIM), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Retail Broker Network (RBN).
