Profile
Michael Turzanski, Director of Engineering, Corporate Occupier & Investor Services, for Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado. He brings with him thirty years of practical and technical experience related to the operation and maintenance of high-rise office buildings, retail facilities, data centers and steam plants. At Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Turzanski is responsible for management and engineering support for over 8 million square feet of office space and 2 million square feet of warehouse space throughout the central business district and metropolitan areas of Denver, Colorado. Other responsibilities include Project Management, property inspections, assisting with new business procurement, due diligence, building and facility management start-up transitions, budget reviews as well as providing mechanical and electrical retrofit concepts and solutions. He was part of the design team for the Denver Newspaper Agency building where his technical and practical experience contributed to the selection and implementation of the buildings mechanical, electrical, fire, life safety and security systems. He currently is participating as part of the design teams for the State of Colorado on their new Colorado History Museum and the new Ralph Carr Colorado Judicial Center Complex buildings.
From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Turzanski was the Chief Engineer for a major high rise for Mile High Properties. From 1999 through 2001 he was their Corporate Engineer where he essentially held the same responsibilities he currently has with Cushman & Wakefield. He was part of the design team for the Wellington E. Webb Building where his technical and practical experience contributed to the selection and implementation of the buildings mechanical, electrical, fire, life safety and security systems. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Turzanski was employed by LaSalle Partners as a Building Engineer and Chief Engineer. As a Building Engineer his responsibilities included operating building systems, maintenance, and Project Management. As Chief Engineer he was involved with budgeting, monthly reporting, setting up preventative/predictive maintenance programs, capital and redevelopment projects, as well as tenant improvement Project Management. From 1992 through 1994 he was part of the LaSalle Partners Technical Services Team as a Regional Chief Engineer and supported managers and engineers in various parts of the country including Colorado, California, Texas, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri and Tennessee.
