For the last 10 days or so, the Saudi Government has imposed a 24/7 curfew and severe travel restrictions across major cities including Riyadh, home of Cushman & Wakefield’s head office and majority of clients.
While the lockdown remains in place ‘indefinitely’, we continue to provide services remotely to all our projects and maintain the same quality and high level of standards as always, albeit utilising out of the box solutions.
We have ensured that our BCP and other contingency plans are appropriate and have been deployed to ensure the safety of our staff and service continuity for our clients to the highest extent possible.
95% of our staff are in Saudi Arabia and ready to mobilise as soon as the lockdown has been lifted by the Government. Our clients and partners have been constantly advised following updates and instructions from the health and labor ministries of the Kingdom and other relevant institutions.
Whilst we have noticed the ‘black hole effect’ with some clients/potential clients/industry peers and supply chain, in other instances its ‘business as usual’ with Cushman & Wakefield receiving enquiries and feedback on proposals submitted.
