Atlanta BUILD Partners for Mentorship Program

Cushman & Wakefield’s Blacks United in Leadership Development group (BUILD) is partnering with the Georgia CCIM Chapter and the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP) for its 2020 Mentorship Program.

BUILD Atlanta Mentorship Program

This is inaugural partnership is the first of its kind across the country, initiated to further promote the advancement of diversity in the commercial real estate industry. This program was spearheaded by GA CCIM Chapter Officer Kenisha Robnett, Executive Vice President of RE/MAX Platinum Access, and consists of 10 mentees and mentors, including four employees from Cushman & Wakefield (Ken Ashley, John McCann, Andy Sumlin and Pierce Owings); and is designed to be a catalyst for the mentee's career through education and networking for long term success.

“This is a great initiative that REAP Atlanta is glad to support,” said Quinn Green, Associate Broker at Century 21 Connect Realty and Planning Director at REAP Atlanta. “The mission of this mentorship program and partnership is to increase and improve the access and connection of diverse talent to leadership and resources within the commercial real estate space.”

“We are very happy and excited to announce that our 2020 Mentorship Program launched in late January,” said Leo Terrazas, Vice President of Business Development at Mimms Enterprises and Georgia CCIM 2020 President. “We are very grateful for Cushman & Wakefield for their support to make this program a reality. In addition, we are overwhelmed with the response from of our mentors who have agreed to participate and pour their knowledge and experience into our mentees. The overall support and response to our Georgia CCIM 2020 Mentorship Program has been commendable. We believe that many lives will be positively impacted and transformed through this program.”
