Gian Rodriguez serves as Managing Principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices. In this role, Gian leads the strategic growth and business development efforts for the firm’s 200+ person operation in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. He also oversees all aspects of the firm’s business in these markets, including agency leasing, tenant representation, capital markets, debt and equity, asset services, valuation and advisory, and project and development services.

In addition to his Managing Principal position, Gian is a market-leading industrial broker, specializing in landlord and tenant representation and investment sales. He and his team, consisting of partner Wayne Ramoski as well as Skylar Stein and Heidi Peckhaus, consistently rank as a top-producing team within Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida market.

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2011, Gian has represented some of the most notable landlords and owners in the industrial arena, inlcuding Bridge Development Partners, Principal Financial Group, L&B Realty Advisors, Bristol Group, Duke Realty, CenterPoint Properties, Terranova, Terra Group, Lincoln Property Company, Foundry Commercial, and TA Realty. He has also represented a variety of notable industrial users in finding and leasing high-quality space, including AnsaldoBreda Inc. (now Hitachi Rail), Red Bull Distribution Company, Towne Air Freight, Agro Engineering, the University of Miami, and Miami International Freight Solutions.

Gian has more than a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, as well as a background in marketing and communications. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, he worked with Adler Realty Services. Prior to that, he held several roles in the communications field, including Media Relations Manager for the Golf Association of Philadelphia and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for an independent luxury real estate firm in the Greater Philadelphia area. A Miami native, he is fluent in both English and Spanish.
