Joe Zurek is a Director leading the Healthcare Advisory Practice for Cushman & Wakefield in San Diego and is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s National Healthcare Advisory Practice. He advises clients in various capacities including tenant/buyer representation, agency leasing and investment sales services. His clients include hospital systems, medical practice groups, independent physician offices, and medical office investors/developers. Joe has been a featured panelist and his market insights have been featured in industry publications including Globe St. and the San Diego Business Journal. Joe currently manages in excess of 1 million square feet of healthcare real estate in Southern California and with his team has successfully transacted millions of square feet of healthcare real estate.
Additionally, Joe is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets Team, focused on the Southern California region. The team focuses exclusively on advising healthcare providers and third-party investors on acquisition, disposition and debt & equity strategies for healthcare real estate assets across the continuum of care. Additionally, the team assists healthcare providers with strategic capital planning (including monetization of non-core real estate), and the developer selection process.
