From the Bay to The A, From The Big Apple to The Big Peach, and From Everywhere In Between

Riley McMullan • 3/17/2021
Atlanta has emerged as a hot spot for corporate relocations and large regional and technology hubs. As the economic and social engine of the Southeast, the city is No. 3 for Fortune 500 companies with 18 (not to mention the headquarters for Waffle House and Chick-fil-A) with more on the way. Atlanta has established itself as one of the most desirable places in the nation to do business.

The largest city in the No. 1 ranked state for business climate has proven particularly attractive to tech companies looking to capitalize on Atlanta’s deep and diverse talent pool and entrepreneurial spirit. An abundance of young talent calls the city home, and as the nation’s top moving destination, Atlanta is predicted to see one of the nation’s largest increases in residents aged 25-39 comprising its population in the 2020s.
