Ocala, just north of Orlando and Tampa along the I-75 Interstate, used to be a sleepy industrial market dominated by small users and owner occupied assets. In fact, slightly more than 150,000 square feet in leasing activity occurred in 2021, with only 5,000 square feet in buildings greater than 50,000 square feet. That’s changed over the last year as industrial users discovered a vibrant and diverse workforce as well abundant land near major transportation routes that connect the region to markets across the stats.
