Profile

Mike is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism. His real estate career began in title insurance, where he was the Director of Marketing for a start-up multi-branch organization in Ft. Myers, Florida. Following this he was a Regional Manager (Florida) for Westford Asset Management, Inc., headquartered in Hartford. His management portfolio included office/retail and multi-family throughout the Southeast. These duties included budgeting/forecasting/market analysis, retail/office lease negotiation through build out, implementation and supervision of capital improvement packages, and supervision of 30 multi-site employees.

As a Portfolio Manager for Cushman & Wakefield, Mike’s primary responsibility is for the management of approximately 4 million square feet of retail shopping centers, office buildings, industrial/warehouse facilities, and facility management assignments. These duties include retail leasing, rent collections, physical plant maintenance, implementation of capital improvement packages, construction management for a new tenant build-outs, and supervision of property management, maintenance and support staff.

During his 19 years at Cushman & Wakefield, Mike’s specialty has become the development and implementation of capital improvements that have been designed specifically to add value to each property, based on the projects competitiveness in the market, and the client’s long-term goals.

Awards & Associations

Mike holds a Florida Real Estate Salesman License, and is a Member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He is also a LEED GREEN Associate. He was the 2001 and 2004 recipient of C&W’s Top Asset Services Professional award, 2003 Service Excellence Award, Asset Services, and the 2007 C&W MVP Award.

He is a volunteer Wish-granter for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
